Senior General Surgeon: Laparoscopic&Emergency Care

<p>A General Surgeon is responsible for performing a wide range of surgical procedures to treat injuries, diseases, and deformities. The role involves diagnosing patients, planning and executing surgeries, and providing post-operative care while adhering to UAE healthcare regulations and international medical standards.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform surgical procedures such as abdominal, gastrointestinal, hernia, breast, and emergency surgeries</li><li>Examine patients, review medical history, and diagnose surgical conditions</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, CT scans, blood tests)</li><li>Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients</li><li>Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation</li><li>Follow infection control and patient safety protocols</li><li>Handle emergency surgical cases promptly</li><li>Stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques and medical technologies</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)</li><li>MS / MD in General Surgery or equivalent specialization</li><li>Board certification or equivalent (preferred)</li></ul><p><strong>Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a General Surgeon</li><li>Experience in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery is highly preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Key Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent surgical and clinical skills</li><li>Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability</li><li>Good communication and patient management skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, especially in emergencies</li><li>Team collaboration and leadership abilities</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Work in hospitals, clinics, or specialty surgical centres</li><li>Long and irregular working hours, including on-call duties</li><li>High-pressure environment requiring precision and focus</li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
