Senior General Surgeon: Laparoscopic & Emergency Care

A General Surgeon is responsible for performing a wide range of surgical procedures to treat injuries, diseases, and deformities. The role involves diagnosing patients, planning and executing surgeries, and providing post-operative care while adhering to UAE healthcare regulations and international medical standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform surgical procedures such as abdominal, gastrointestinal, hernia, breast, and emergency surgeriesExamine patients, review medical history, and diagnose surgical conditionsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, CT scans, blood tests)Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patientsCollaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsMaintain accurate patient records and documentationFollow infection control and patient safety protocolsHandle emergency surgical cases promptlyStay updated with advancements in surgical techniques and medical technologiesRequired QualificationsMBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)MS / MD in General Surgery or equivalent specializationBoard certification or equivalent (preferred)Experience RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of experience as a General SurgeonExperience in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery is highly preferredKey SkillsExcellent surgical and clinical skillsStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilityGood communication and patient management skillsAbility to work under pressure, especially in emergenciesTeam collaboration and leadership abilitiesWorking ConditionsWork in hospitals, clinics, or specialty surgical centresLong and irregular working hours, including on-call dutiesHigh-pressure environment requiring precision and focus#J-18808-Ljbffr
