While we have a dedicated team handling most of the heavy migration work, we need a Senior Frontend Engineer who can:Build new product features on top of a changing architectureImplement clean design patterns that raise the bar for the entire teamGuide and mentor existing frontend engineersHelp define best practices, standards, and frontend structureEnsure new features are aligned with modern Next.js conventionsMake smart trade-offs while working in a partially legacy environmentWe are looking for someone who can think, not just code—someone who sees patterns, structure, maintainability, and the long-term health of the UI layer.What You’ll Actually DoProvide architectural guidance on component structure, routing patterns, and best practicesHelp shape a scalable component library and consistent UI systemIntroduce clean coding standards and reduce unnecessary complexityAssist in identifying anti-patterns in the legacy code and propose lightweight improvementsWork closely with backend to create clean data‑fetching flowsEnsure new features follow modern React + Next.js principlesRequirementsStrong experience with Next.js across versions (12 → 13 → all the way to latest version)Deep understanding of React patterns (composition, state management, separation of concerns)Experience building scalable UI architectures & reusable componentsAbility to write clean, readable, maintainable UI codeStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsAbility to explain trade-offs and guide other engineersComfortable working alongside legacy code while building new featuresExposure to AI-assisted workflows (Claude, Cursor, Copilot)Nice to HaveExperience mentoring or leading frontend engineersExperience working with design systems (Tailwind, shadcn, Chakra, custom)Strong understanding of performance optimization#J-18808-Ljbffr
