Job Description

Job Description As a FP&A (Systems & Reporting) Analyst at QAD, you will play a crucial role in executing and maintaining routine financial planning and analysis processes. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Financial Modeling & Forecasting Support: - Support the maintenance of financial models and assist in generating forecasts for budgeting and planning cycles within financial systems. - Analyze historical trends and provide data for planning cycles. - Financial Reporting & Variance Analysis: - Produce regular and ad hoc financial reports for leadership. - Conduct initial variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, identifying discrepancies and providing explanations. - Data Collection & Management: - Efficiently gather and consolidate data from multiple financial systems, with a focus on recurring revenue data and cost drivers. - Perform routine analysis to support decision-making on revenue, cost, and profitability. - FP&A Tools Implementation: - Actively support the implementation and enhancement of FP&A tools, particularly Adaptive Insights, focusing on budget upload processes and report creation. - Identify and implement ways to streamline reporting, improve data accuracy, and ensure timeliness of financial information. - Business Partnership (Operational Focus): - Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their data and reporting needs, providing routine analytical support for operational finance. - Report Creation and Standardization: - Develop and maintain standard reporting templates within FP&A systems to ensure consistency and efficiency in data presentation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. - 4-6 years of experience focusing on financial systems administration, data management, and report generation within a finance or FP&A function. Computer Skills: - Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. - Strong working knowledge of financial systems, particularly Adaptive Insights and Netsuite, including budget upload functionalities and report creation concepts. Operational Understanding: - Understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis processes. - Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial reporting. - Knowledge of recurring revenue accounting and reporting concepts. - Clear and concise communication skills for collaborating on data needs and system processes. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
