We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our estimation team for interior fit-out. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire estimation process, from initial tender inquiries to final contract pricing.ResponsibilitiesPrepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimates for high-end interior fit-out projects.Manage the full tender process, including interpreting drawings, specifications, and tender documents.Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for projects.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and suppliers to determine material, labour, and equipment costs.Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value.Oversee cost control measures throughout the estimation process.Identify and propose value engineering solutions to optimise project budgets.Manage a team of estimators and ensure they produce accurate and timely estimates.Review and analyse contractor claims for accuracy.Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.Assist in establishing and maintaining company estimation policies and procedures.Work with sales to prioritise bids and ensure timely submissions.Job requirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:Minimum 7 years of proven experience in cost estimation for interior fit-out projects within the UAE/GCC.Strong expertise in high-end finishes, bespoke joinery, custom-made furniture, and complex MEP services.In-depth knowledge of local market rates for materials, labour, and subcontractors (UAE/GCC market essential).Proven experience handling FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) costing.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess tender risks and contractual requirements.Excellent negotiation and commercial acumen.Proficient in estimation software, MS Excel, and tender management processes.Strong communication and reporting skills.Location: ICAD 1 Mussafah, Abu Dhabi#J-18808-Ljbffr
