Headquartered in Singapore, SJ is a diverse collective of experts delivering sustainable and high-impact solutions across the built environment.**The Role**The Senior FLS (Fire & Life Safety) Engineer will be a key technical lead on the JEDCO Project in Jeddah. The role is responsible for leading Fire & Life Safety design, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces across large-scale mixed-use and urban developments.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead and oversee Fire & Life Safety design from concept through delivery.* Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense, NFPA, and relevant standards.* Act as the main FLS interface with clients, authorities, and project stakeholders.* Coordinate FLS requirements across architectural, MEP, structural, and infrastructure teams.* Review and approve FLS strategies, reports, and design deliverables.* Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.**Key Qualifications and Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).* 20+ years’ experience in Fire & Life Safety engineering.* Proven delivery of large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia, preferably in Jeddah.* Extensive experience working with Saudi Civil Defense and local authorities.* Strong background in senior or lead FLS roles on complex developments.**Key Knowledge and Skills*** Expert knowledge of Fire & Life Safety systems and engineering principles.* Strong understanding of SBC, NFPA, Civil Defense, and international fire codes.* Excellent multidisciplinary coordination and stakeholder management skills.* Ability to lead technical teams and manage design reviews and approvals.**How to Apply**Please submit your application through our official careers portal.
