Senior Financial Analyst

<div><p>Responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function by delivering high-quality financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role focuses on creating financial models, analyzing financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing actionable insights to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and financial performance.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Support the development of the annual budget and rolling forecasts in alignment with business objectives.</li><li>Prepare detailed financial models and forecasts based on operational and financial data.</li><li>Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and historical trends.</li><li>Prepare monthly variance analysis reports and explain key drivers of performance.</li><li>Support the automation and improvement of financial reporting processes in collaboration with IT and relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data used in analysis and reporting.</li></ul><h3>Performance Analysis</h3><ul><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze financial and operational trends.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis and identify risks, opportunities, and cost optimization areas.</li><li>Prepare financial ratio analysis to assess profitability, efficiency, and financial health.</li><li>Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.</li></ul><h3>Strategic and Operational Decision Support</h3><ul><li>Develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives such as store expansion, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.</li><li>Support ROI and profitability analysis for capital expenditures and operational initiatives.</li><li>Assist business units by providing financial insights to support operational decision-making.</li><li>Analyze cost structures and recommend efficiency improvements.</li></ul><h3>Financial Reporting and Compliance</h3><ul><li>Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.</li><li>Support preparation of executive and board-level financial presentations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal financial policies.</li><li>Maintain consistency and accuracy of financial reporting across business units.</li></ul><h3>Benchmarking and Market Analysis</h3><ul><li>Analyze internal performance and benchmark against industry and competitors.</li><li>Monitor external factors such as inflation, cost trends, and market conditions.</li><li>Provide insights to support pricing, cost management, and profitability improvement.</li></ul><h3>Process Improvement and Systems Support</h3><ul><li>Support implementation and enhancement of financial planning and reporting tools.</li><li>Improve reporting efficiency through automation and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function.</li></ul><h3>Experience&Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance.</li><li>Professional qualification (e.g. CMA, CFA, CPA) is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).</li><li>Proficiency in English Language and Arabic knowledge is essential plus.</li><li>Strong proficiency in financial modelling, excel and ERP systems.</li><li>Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).</li><li>Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.</li><li>Experience in handling large datasets and BI tools for reporting.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Knowledge of retail metrics (e.g. inventory turnover, shrinkage, sales intensity).</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
