The Cloud Platform Engineer ensures scalable, secure, and cost-efficient operations leveraging GCP and OCI platforms. This role is critical to modernizing Bupa Arabia’s infrastructure through automation, observability, and adherence to security and compliance standards.ResponsibilitiesDesign and Implementation: Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure across GCP and OCI.Automation and Optimization: Automate provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud SDK; implement CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.Security and Compliance: Apply and maintain IAM policies, encryption, and security configurations in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.Monitoring and Reliability: Implement observability tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus) to monitor availability, cost, and performance.Collaboration and Support: Partner with application, security, and operations teams to enable cloud-native architectures and resolve incidents.Continuous Improvement: Stay current with cloud advancements and recommend new tools and practices to improve infrastructure efficiency.SkillsProficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong understanding of networking, VPC design, and cloud architecture.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and cost optimization tools.GCP or OCI certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect, OCI Architect Professional) preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
