The Cloud Platform Engineer ensures scalable, secure, and cost-efficient operations leveraging GCP and OCI platforms. This role is critical to modernizing Bupa Arabia’s infrastructure through automation, observability, and adherence to security and compliance standards.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ol><li>Design and Implementation: Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure across GCP and OCI.</li><li>Automation and Optimization: Automate provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud SDK; implement CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.</li><li>Security and Compliance: Apply and maintain IAM policies, encryption, and security configurations in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.</li><li>Monitoring and Reliability: Implement observability tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus) to monitor availability, cost, and performance.</li><li>Collaboration and Support: Partner with application, security, and operations teams to enable cloud-native architectures and resolve incidents.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Stay current with cloud advancements and recommend new tools and practices to improve infrastructure efficiency.</li></ol><h3>Skills</h3><ul><li>Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).</li><li>Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Strong understanding of networking, VPC design, and cloud architecture.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and cost optimization tools.</li><li>GCP or OCI certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect, OCI Architect Professional) preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li></ul><h3>Education</h3><p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
