Job Title - Senior English CopywriterAbout the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned and imaginative Senior English Copywriter with a proven ability to craft powerful, compelling copy for a variety of channels from digital campaigns and social media to print and video. The successful candidate will lead the conceptual development of creative campaigns, define brand voice, and mentor junior writers, while ensuring every piece of copy resonates with the brand’s strategy and audience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-impact, strategic and creative copy across channels: social media, web, email, video scripts, brochures, digital ads, landing pages, and integrated campaigns.Interpret creative briefs and translate them into persuasive and clear messaging, headlines, taglines, and storytelling.Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Designers, Account Teams, and Planners to ideate and execute campaign concepts.Lead and mentor junior copywriters: review their work, provide feedback, guide tone of voice, and support their creative growth.Conduct research on clients business, their markets, audience insights, and industry trends to deliver relevant and culturally resonant copy.Edit, proofread, and polish copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone, grammar, and messaging.Present and defend creative ideas, copy, campaign concepts and drafts to internal teams and clients.Stay updated on emerging media, digital communication trends, platform UX, and content strategies to keep campaigns fresh and effective.Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, GDPR or regional compliance (if applicable), and internal quality standards.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in a creative agency, brand marketing, or advertising environment.Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, storytelling, campaign work, social content, long‑form and short copy.Excellent command of English grammar, tone, style, and the ability to write across different formats.Proven experience mentoring or managing more junior writers.Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment; skilled in multiple projects at once.Proficiency in presentation tools (PowerPoint / Google Slides) and basic knowledge of content management or collaboration tools.Creative, curious, and self‑motivated, with a passion for crafting memorable brand stories.Key Competencies & BehavioursStrategic thinking: understands brand positioning, audience insights, and campaign goals.Creative storytelling: able to generate big ideas, craft narratives, and write with personality.Collaboration: works well with cross‑disciplinary teams (creative, accounts, strategy).Leadership: mentors, provides constructive feedback, and helps develop creative talent.Attention to detail: delivers high‑quality, error‑free copy.Adaptability: stays on top of trends, adapts to new briefs and media channels.Resilience: comfortable working under pressure and handling constructive feedback.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits aligned with UAE advertising and creative industry standards.Opportunity to lead creative campaigns for regional and global brands.A collaborative, growth‑focused agency culture where your ideas matter.Exposure to a wide variety of projects (digital, print, video) and professional development as a senior creative.Apply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
