Job Description
OverviewBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 18-20 years' experience in mechanical engineering.Proven experience in proposal management and development. Strong analytical and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.ResponsibilitiesManage the proposal development process from initiation to submission.Gather requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals and generation of techno-commercial proposals which are accurate, cost effective and address specific customer needs.Analyze project scope, objectives, and constraints to define proposal deliverables and timelines.Review and evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards.Track and manage proposal timelines, coordinating with contributors and stakeholders.Conduct post-proposal evaluations and analyses to identify areas for improvement.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in proposal management.Review customer inquiries / RFQ documents, attend customer scope meetings and identify problem statements and customer requirements.Create superior technical solutions in line with project specifications and ensure proposals are commercially viable and competitive while mitigating and managing risk.Responsible for compliance with the bid requirements.Define supply needs to supply chain / procurement to support the opportunities.Take full responsibility of the assigned proposals, from initial contact through contract signing, working in close relationship with regional sales team.Ensure timely response to inquiries and quick turnaround for the proposals.Coordinate with Contracts and Negotiations and internal Finance and controls to address project contractual needs during the bidding phase, through to final contract closure.Facilitate establishment of agreed Terms of Service with new clients.Facilitate commercial reviews for approvals at the required levels.Provide regular feedback on activity status to the regional commercial leads and ensure timely data updates in the proposal management system.The Individual: Good understanding of Oil & Gas facilities processes.Experience in working with EPCs and end users to define project requirements for both greenfield and brownfield projects.Comprehensive knowledge of various stages of the project lifecycle such as FEED, tendering, proposal, designing, engineering, procurement, execution, implementation, testing, construction & commissioning.Able to identify and prepare all the risk in the contract; evaluate the impact with consequences with proposed mitigation plan.
