Job Description As a Senior Engineer in Product Design and Testing at our company, you will be instrumental in leading and executing NTI/NPI programs for solar battery storage and other renewable/industrial solutions. Your role will involve brainstorming innovative concepts, identifying areas for product innovation, and leading a team of engineers through the design and manufacturing stages. You will play a crucial part in integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance existing products and develop new solutions. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - **Execution:** - Brainstorm and explore novel concepts and technologies to improve solar and BESS inverters or develop new solutions. - Identify opportunities to enhance product competitiveness by generating more Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE). - Recognize areas for innovation to address industry needs and challenges. - Showcase timely program execution and completion of all design reviews. - **Learning and Continuous Development:** - Stay updated on the latest technological advancements from universities, research centers, and industry publications. - Identify promising technologies applicable to solar and battery storage power systems. - Analyze technical feasibility and benefits of integrating new technologies into existing systems. - Demonstrate knowledge in existing products and present design changes effectively. - **Leadership & Collaboration:** - Build and lead a team of engineers and researchers with diverse skill sets. - Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creative problem-solving and idea generation. - Provide guidance and support for efficient exploration of identified technologies. - **Validation & Proof-of-Concept:** - Develop and oversee proof-of-concept projects to validate new technologies' applicability. - Collaborate with research centers for testing and validation. - Analyze results and assess commercial viability of integrating new technologies. - **Communication & Reporting:** - Clearly communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. - Prepare reports and presentations to convey the potential impact of new technologies effectively. - Align the team's exploration with the organization's strategic goals. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's/Advanced/equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Extensive experience in power electronics, solar energy, or battery storage systems. - Thorough knowledge of PV and BESS plant sizing. - Proven track record of innovation and technical leadership. - Minimum 8 years of product life cycle experience from design to service. - Experience in MV and LV drives. - Leadership experience in handling larger teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Passion for staying updated with industry trends and advancements.
