Senior Engineer Operations Readiness And Assurance

Senior Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A)We are hiring a Senior Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) to be based in Abu Dhabi with strong Oil & Gas projects experience from design through commissioning and start-up. The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient transition of projects into operations by implementing OR&A processes, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement Operations Readiness & Assurance (OR&A) activities across project phases.Review engineering deliverables to ensure operability, maintainability, and safety compliance.Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams.Develop and review operating procedures, maintenance strategies, and training plans.Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS, etc.) and readiness reviews.Support commissioning, start-up, and handover to Operations.Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a similar role.Strong experience in OR&A, commissioning, start-up, and operational risk management.Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ISO, IEC, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Job DetailsRole Level: Not ApplicableWork Type: Full-TimeCountry: United Arab EmiratesCity: Abu DhabiCompany Website: http://www.penspen.comJob Function: Information Technology (IT)Company Industry / Sector: Professional Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
