Senior Engineer-Dairy

Our client, a prominent player in the food manufacturing sector based in KSA, is seeking a Senior Engineer Dairy to support the execution of dairy-related projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, acting as a subject matter expert and providing end-to-end technical and coordination support. The role focuses on ensuring smooth execution within the agreed scope, time, and cost, while maintaining high engineering standards.ResponsibilitiesAct as a subject matter expert in the dairy domain and support project managers in planning and executionAssist in initiating project studies, reviewing proposals, and contributing to the definition of objectives and deliverablesCoordinate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and develop the project scopeDefine project schedules by reviewing plans and calculating time requirementsEvaluate supplier proposals and prepare technical analysis and cost estimatesAssist in budget preparation and financial tracking of project activitiesPrepare and review contractual documents including tender packages, technical submittals, and specificationsSupport project implementation, tracking, and progress reportingDevelop and maintain full-scale project plans and timelinesAssist in defining project resource requirements and task distributionMonitor adherence to design, schedule, and technical standards and recommend corrective actionsPrepare and analyze project status reports, trends, and recommendationsDefine technical specifications and prepare BOQ/BOM for equipment and componentsManage procurement processes including supplier coordination and follow‑upsCoordinate cross‑functionally with departments including production, maintenance, QA/QC, and procurementEnsure product performance by conducting tests and validating results against acceptance criteriaSupport the implementation of project changes and interventionsAnalyze project data and prepare technical evaluation reportsReview and finalize P&IDs, layouts, and other engineering drawingsLiaise with vendors for technical proposals and documentationMaintain and update controlled project documents and drawings in coordination with CAD engineersSupport external projects and collaborate with internal departments as neededPerform other duties as assigned by managementComply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and national standards during project executionQualificationsBachelors degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or EngineeringMinimum 7 years of experience in a similar capacity within the dairy or food manufacturing industryProficient in MS Office and MS ProjectWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in preparing P&IDs and technical layoutsFluency in English is requiredMembership in a local or international engineering society is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
