We are hiring a Senior Engineer – Contracts (Arabic Speaker) to join a major infrastructure and energy organization in UAE.This position offers excellent growth opportunities, exposure to large-scale UAE projects, and the chance to contribute to the nation’s infrastructure development.Job SummaryThe Senior Engineer – Contracts is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle within the Sourcing Department under the Supply Chain Division. The role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing engineering and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and organizational standards.You will work closely with procurement, engineering, legal, finance, and project management teams to ensure the smooth, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods, services, and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesContract ManagementPrepare, draft, review, and finalize engineering and commercial contracts (EPC, SLAs, AMCs, supply agreements).Ensure compliance with UAE government standards, legal requirements, and company policies.Manage contract renewals, amendments, extensions, and closure documentation.Negotiation & Vendor RelationsLead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.Support pre-award and post-award activities for technical and commercial teams.Evaluate and manage supplier/contractor performance.Risk Monitoring & ComplianceIdentify risks and propose mitigation strategies.Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in the UAE.Maintain a centralized contract database and ensure accurate documentation.Analysis & ReportingPrepare periodic reports on contract status, deviations, KPIs, risks, and performance indicators.Provide insights to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.Leadership & DevelopmentSupport knowledge transfer and training for junior staff.Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence.RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or similar).Preferred: Master’s degree in Contract Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Commercial Law.ExperienceBachelor’s degree: 4–8 years of experience in contract management (preferably EPC).Master’s degree: 2–4 years of experience in contract management.SkillsStrong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.Understanding of pricing models, cost structures, and payment terms.LanguagesEnglish: RequiredArabic: Preferred (advantage for communication with local stakeholders)Working ConditionsLocation: Ajman – Head OfficeWork Type: Onsite roleTravel: As needed within the UAEHow to ApplyIf you are a motivated Emirati engineer looking to build a strong career in contract management and contribute to the UAE’s infrastructure growth, apply now.Submit your updated CV through the application link or platform you are viewing this job on.#J-18808-Ljbffr
