The successful candidate will provide ELV (ICT/AV & Security) engineering site and at times design services on projects to Ramboll and its Clients', including coordination with RME/RIN team.The successful candidate will work closely and in collaboration with the Ramboll Middle East team located in Abu Dhabi & Dubai, working on a wide variety of project work with signature Architects across the Middle East and internationally.We have a supporting and collaborative culture and enjoy what we do! We have a current focus on digital and parametric design and believe that the future of our industry lies in working smarter not harder.Specific areas of key responsibility include the following:Project and technical leadership.Team MotivationTraining and developmentDeveloping and guiding engineers and/or design team.Applying policies relating to health & safety, quality and trainingExperienced in site supervision and designing ICT, Security and Audio-Visual with control system for large scale facilities such as Hotels, Museums, Auditoriums, Malls and Mixed development project.Experience ELV (ICT/AV and Security) systemsand detailed engineering.Site supervision, design, and documentation of Electrical / ELV systems. Experience in Access Control System (ACS), CCTV designing, Physical security such as Bollards, Gate barriers, Audio Visual and ICT systemsMEP Service Coordination, and ELV including BMS system working knowledge on Middle East projects (must). Must be able to create and modify Revit Families. Good Knowledge of RCP coordinationAbility to Review and Prepare ELV, including BMS mark-ups, and coordinate with other disciplines, including the RME ELV team, Site team, and RIN technician for modeling and production work.Coordinate regularly with MEP team for services coordination.Tools and software Exp: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, BIM360, NavisworksUnderstanding of the financial and commercial management of projects.Provide technical support to respond to prequalification documents, RFPs and other client inquiries.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEnsure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policiesQualificationsBachelors or Diploma degree in Building Services / Electrical and Electronics EngineeringExperienceMinimum of 12 years’ experience, 6 years’ experience in Middle East.Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors, including high rise, commercial, residential, retail, Healthcare, Industrial, refurbishment, etc;Proven record as a ELV Engineer on several projects.Experienced at:Presenting to clientsAttending demanding client meetingsPreparing project proposals for agreementArranging project resourcesLeading MEP coordinationLocal authority guidelines and requirements, and fair knowledge of the authority NOC submissions.Planning and running projectsTechnical Skills / KnowledgeProven ability to carry out both manual and computer aided calculations, problem solving, technical and financial analyses, etc.Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software.Detailed knowledge of BIM / digitalisation techniques and standardsStrong software capability and proficiency in AutoCAD.
