Rambloll are looking for a Senior ELV Engineer to join our site team in Dubai & Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will provide ELV (ICT/AV & Security) engineering site and at times design services on projects to Ramboll and its Clients', including coordination with RME/RIN team. We will work closely and in collaboration with the Ramboll Middle East team located in Abu Dhabi & Dubai, working on a wide variety of project work with signature Architects across the Middle East and internationally. Our current focus is on digital and parametric design and we believe that the future of our industry lies in working smarter not harder.Job DescriptionProject and technical leadership.Team motivation.Training and development.Developing and guiding engineers and/or design team.Applying policies relating to health & safety, quality and training.Experienced in site supervision and designing ICT, Security and Audio-Visual with control system for large scale facilities such as Hotels, Museums, Auditoriums, Malls and Mixed development projects.Experience ELV (ICT/AV and Security) systems and detailed engineering.Site supervision, design, and documentation of Electrical / ELV systems. Experience in Access Control System (ACS), CCTV designing, Physical security such as Bollards, Gate barriers, Audio Visual and ICT systems.MEP Service Coordination, and ELV including BMS system working knowledge on Middle East projects (must). Must be able to create and modify Revit Families. Good Knowledge of RCP coordination.Ability to review and prepare ELV, including BMS mark-ups, and coordinate with other disciplines, including the RME ELV team, Site team, and RIN technician for modeling and production work.Coordinate regularly with MEP team for services coordination.Tools and software: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, BIM360, Navisworks.Understanding of the financial and commercial management of projects.Provide technical support to respond to prequalification documents, RFPs and other client inquiries.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.QualificationsBachelor's or Diploma degree in Building Services / Electrical and Electronics Engineering.ExperienceMinimum of 12 years’ experience, 6 years’ experience in Middle East.Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors, including high rise, commercial, residential, retail, Healthcare, Industrial, refurbishment, etc.Proven record as an ELV Engineer on several projects.Experienced at:Presenting to clients.Attending demanding client meetings.Preparing project proposals for agreement.Arranging project resources.Leading MEP coordination.Local authority guidelines and requirements, and fair knowledge of the authority NOC submissions.Planning and running projects.Technical Skills / KnowledgeProven ability to carry out both manual and computer aided calculations, problem solving, technical and financial analyses, etc.Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software.Detailed knowledge of BIM / digitalisation techniques and standards.Strong software capability and proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT and Navisworks.Excellent knowledge of local and international design standards, TRA, BICSI, ANSI, TIA etc.Excellent knowledge of local statutory authorities’ regulations and submission requirements across Middle East, mainly UAE and KSA.Advanced knowledge of ELV Engineering Principles, BMS, IT, AV and Security design.Specialised software for Heat Map, Audio and CCTV FoV simulation.Sustainable design practices and technologies.Basic understanding of HVAC and public health principles.Competencies / Personal AttributesPeople leadership.Collaboration & teamwork.Commercial acumen.Technical capability & delivery.Adaptability & learning.Persuading and influencing.Communicating and presenting.Delivering results.Additional InformationFounded in Denmark, Ramboll is a foundation-owned people company.
