Senior ELV Engineer - Design

Our Building Services team are currently seeking a Senior ELV Engineer - Design to join our team. In this role you will lead the design of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale commercial and industrial projects ensuring efficient and innovative solutions that meet client needs and comply with local regulations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive ELV system designs including fire alarm security and communication systemsCreate detailed technical specifications drawings and documentation using AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ELV systems with building management systems (BMS)Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and constraintsEnsure compliance with local building codes standards and industry best practicesManage multiple projects simultaneously meeting deadlines and budget requirementsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersLiaise with clients contractors and stakeholders to address design-related inquiries and issuesStay updated on emerging technologies and trends in ELV systems to drive innovation in design solutionsQualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 6years of experience in ELV system design for large-scale buildingprojectsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareStrong knowledge of building management systems (BMS) fire alarm security and communication systemsFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAEExcellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferredIn-depth understanding of industry standards and best practices for ELV design and implementationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior engineersAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
