Senior Electrical Inspector – Infra Projects (Saudi)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector, preferably a Saudi National, to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, specifically in interface management roles within the consultancy sector, with a strong background in site supervision for projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Verify the implementation of electrical designs, drawings, and specifications in accordance with approved plans and applicable codes.Monitor electrical construction activities, including cable laying, wiring, installation of fixtures, and testing and commissioning of electrical systems.Identify and report any non-conformities, defects, or discrepancies observed during inspections and coordinate with project stakeholders to address corrective actions.Review contractor submittals, including electrical shop drawings, method statements, and material samples, for compliance with project requirements.Collaborate with electrical engineers, designers, and consultants to resolve technical issues, clarify specifications, and ensure project objectives are achieved.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project records, documentation, and progress reports related to electrical works.Provide technical support and guidance to junior inspectors and site personnel as needed.Promote adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in electrical construction activities.Participate in meetings, workshops, and site visits to support project coordination and interface management activities.QualificationsSaudi Nationality is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical inspection roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects.Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles, installations, and testing procedures.Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.Professional certifications or licenses related to electrical inspection or engineering are advantageous.As well as rewarding you with competitive pay, WSP offers standard benefits including first class medical cover, paid professional subscriptions.Be you, be happy - we strive to have a friendly and inclusive culture which respects and maximizes the contribution individuals can bring to WSP.
