SENIOR ELECTRICAL FIELD ENGINEER

We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Electrical Field Engineer to join our team on ADNOC onshore oil and gas projects based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site construction installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems and must have a solid track record of working on ADNOC projects. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and provide technical guidance during installation testing pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems including MV/LV switchgear transformers UPS lighting and earthing systems. Review and interpret electrical drawings single-line diagrams (SLDs) cable schedules equipment datasheets and vendor documents. Support construction teams in resolving site technical queries (TQs) and assist in the preparation and response to RFIs. Ensure all electrical works are executed in compliance with ADNOC specifications project standards and international codes (IEC NEC IEEE etc.). Conduct and witness inspections loop checks and pre-commissioning activities. Coordinate with QA/QC HSE instrumentation and mechanical teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical activities. Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and energization activities. Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedule and quality standards. Review and approve method statements inspection and test plans (ITPs) and material submittals related to electrical scope. Provide regular updates and reports to project management and client representatives. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering for oil and gas projects. Mandatory experience working on ADNOC onshore projects. Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems used in oil and gas installations. Familiarity with ADNOC procedures design specifications and approval processes. Experience with hazardous area classification and ATEX-certified equipment. Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary project environment.
