Senior Electrical Engineer

Requisition Number: 24133BRDescriptionStantec is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic site team in Abu Dhabi.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitoring the Electrical scope of works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.Reviewing, approving and processing all Electrical technical submittals.Answering RFI’s related to Electrical scope of works.Coordinating and supervising the work of all MEP activities and operations.Reviewing contractor’s Electrical change order proposals and preparing recommendations to MEP PM.Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.Reviewing contractors claims related to Electrical works and preparing recommendations for claims.Reviewing the contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.Managing the Electrical inspectors.Analyzing laboratory and testing reports.Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the Electrical works.Signing off on completed Electrical works with completed documentation.Perform all other duties given by MEP PM.QualificationsMust have a minimum of Fifteen (15) years total experience with Four (5) years in Construction Administration in UAE, and Five (5) years in the Middle East.Must have Healthcare design and Supervision experienceExperience working within an International Consulting FirmBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Strong technical background.Excellent knowledge of Electrical systems, products and materials.Excellent knowledge of applicable Electrical design and construction codes.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent command of Microsoft Office business solutions (Excel, Word).Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation.Excellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirements.Complete project understanding in a given discipline, from start to hand-oveWork Location(s): United Arab Emirates-Abu DhabiEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Type: RegularJob Category: Construction, Consulting, Electrical Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
