Senior Electrical Engineer

<div><p>Lead the design, review, and coordination of electrical systems on large-scale engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and leadership capabilities, ensuring that all electrical works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.</p><h3>Duties and responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the design, specification, and coordination of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and standby power systems.</li><li>Review and approve electrical engineering drawings, calculations, and submittals.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, other engineers (MEP, structural, civil), and project stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall designs.</li><li>Perform site inspections and provide technical support during construction to ensure compliance with approved designs and relevant codes.</li><li>Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment in accordance with project specifications.</li><li>Participate in value engineering and technical workshops to optimize designs and cost‑efficiency.</li><li>Monitor and review the work of junior engineers and consultants, offering guidance and quality assurance.</li><li>Ensure designs adhere to international and local electrical codes and safety regulations.</li><li>Prepare technical reports, documentation, and client presentations as required.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications, Knowledge&Skills</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university, with over 7 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Master's Degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university, with over 5 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and best practices.</li><li>Experience with building services and infrastructure projects, including commercial, residential, or industrial developments.</li><li>Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux, or similar design and analysis programs.</li><li>Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).</li><li>Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Effective communication skills and the ability to lead coordination with multi‑disciplinary teams.</li><li>Strong documentation and report‑writing skills.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
