The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of drilling operations from planning and design to execution and evaluation. They will work closely with other members of the drilling team to ensure that projects are completed on time within budget and in accordance with industry standards and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement drilling plans and procedures in accordance with project requirements and company policiesConduct technical reviews and analysis of drilling programs to identify potential risks and recommend solutionsCollaborate with geologists reservoir engineers and other team members to optimize well design and placementMonitor drilling progress and make real-time decisions to ensure efficient and safe operationsConduct post-well analysis and provide recommendations for future projectsManage and mentor junior engineers and drilling personnelEnsure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental regulationsIdentify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety or qualityDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providersKeep up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate new technologies and techniques into drilling operationsQualificationsBachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in drilling operations with at least 5 years in a senior or supervisory roleExtensive knowledge of drilling techniques equipment and technologiesStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesFamiliarity with industry regulations and standardsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentWillingness to travel to project sites as neededWe OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and advancementDynamic and collaborative work environmentExposure to a variety of challenging projects and cutting-edge technologiesIf you are a driven and experienced drilling engineer looking for a new challenge we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with Star Services LLC.
