Senior Draughtsman (PCB)

LocationLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEDepartment: Drawing Office – EngineeringWork Schedule: 5 days per weekAbout the RoleHALCON is seeking an experienced Senior Draughtsman – Electronics with strong expertise in printed circuit board (PCB) data packs and advanced proficiency in Altium Designer. The successful candidate will support electronic and electrical production by generating complete electronic data packs, including PCB schematics, layouts, manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs). This role is essential in establishing a robust in‑house E‑CAD drawing office capability.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and develop an internal E‑CAD drawing office function.Create and maintain a master component library compliant with IPC standards.Generate complete electronic manufacturing data packs for HALCON products and ensure continuous updates.Produce PCB manufacturing drawings, layouts, schematics, and BOMs.Ensure PCB designs integrate effectively with mechanical subsystems.Support configuration management and change control processes for E‑CAD documentation.Mentor junior team members and support their development in E‑CAD practices.E‑CAD expertise at an advanced level.Expert knowledge of IPC design guidelines.Expert capability in PCB manufacturing drawings.Advanced and proven proficiency in Altium Designer.Expert knowledge of mechanical data pack generation and management.Advanced knowledge of Zuken and Mentor Graphics is an advantage.Strong understanding of configuration management and change control.Ability to mentor junior staff.Experience and QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the engineering industry.Qualification in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (degree, diploma, or technical certification).PCB manufacturing processes.Apply now and be a part of the dynamic team of Drawing Office!!!#J-18808-Ljbffr
