Job OverviewQiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Director- Commercial to lead our commercial operations for high-profile development projects. This senior leadership position will be pivotal in ensuring the strategic alignment of commercial initiatives with the overall goals of Qiddiya. You will oversee all phases of contract management, from initial negotiations through execution, ensuring compliance and value creation throughout the lifecycle of major contracts.In this role, you will collaborate closely with project teams, finance, and legal departments to deliver commercial solutions that drive successful project outcomes. Your strategic thinking and expertise in negotiation will enable you to manage relationships with contractors and stakeholders effectively, addressing risks and capturing opportunities as they arise.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of commercial strategies for contracts related to major projects within QiddiyaOversee the pre-contract and post-contract management processes, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's commercial objectivesNegotiate contracts and manage variations, providing guidance on risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycleEstablish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate successful collaborationMonitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and KPIsManage dispute resolution and claims, employing effective negotiation strategies to resolve issues efficientlyProvide mentorship and guidance to the commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferredA minimum of 12 years of experience in commercial management within the construction or engineering sectorsProfessional accreditation such as MRICS or FRICS is highly desirableDemonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects with a focus on commercial contract negotiation and managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholdersProven leadership abilities with experience in developing and mentoring junior staffBenefitsComprehensive benefits package#J-18808-Ljbffr
