Senior Design Manager - Main Contractor

OverviewA Leading Main Contractor operating across the UAE are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to join its team delivering a large High Rise Residential project.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the overall design process across all stages of the project, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budget, and program.Act as the primary liaison between the client, consultants, sub contractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication.Drive design progress and conduct constructability assessments.Review and approve design documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.Provide technical leadership across architectural and engineering disciplines, ensuring high-quality design output.Support senior leadership in strategic planning, risk management, and decision-making.RequirementsArchitectural background (Bachelor's degree required) or similarMinimum 12 years design management experience, with proven experience delivering Major Build projects in the UAE/GCC.Strong understanding of UAE building codes, development regulations, authority approval processes, and local market dynamics.Demonstrated experience working on High Rise Residential projects or similar.Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring design teams.Strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to drive project progress and resolve complex issues.Exceptional communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
