Senior Design Engineer

Joining this project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark development that will redefine urban mobility in the capital.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of roads and bridges, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations while delivering solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.Conduct detailed analysis and design calculations, utilizing advanced engineering software to produce high-quality design documentation and reports.Review and approve design drawings and specifications, providing technical guidance to design engineers and ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.Coordinate with various disciplines including geotechnical, environmental, and traffic engineering to ensure integrated design solutions that address all project aspects.Monitor design progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.Participate in site visits and inspections to assess construction progress and quality, providing feedback and recommendations to ensure compliance with design specifications.SkillsQualifications & EducationEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.Experience RequirementsTotal Experience: 20+ years experience at infrastructure projects such as bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, highways.Managerial Experience: Minimum 5+ years working as Senior Design Engineer.Regional Experience: Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a significant advantage.Skills & CompetenciesLanguages: Excellent command of English (written & spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.Software: Proficiency in Autocad, Autodesk Civil 3D.
