Job Description As a Senior Data Analyst at New Relic, you will play a vital role in uncovering valuable insights about customers and user engagement across the product portfolio. Your main focus will be delivering actionable intelligence to the Go-To-Market (GTM) and Product leadership, improving sales organizations' analytical capabilities and harnessing the vast amount of business user and customer data generated by New Relic. Key Responsibilities: - Independently lead and drive key projects that anticipate the needs of executive leadership, ensuring successful delivery and impactful results. - Identify areas where data science and data-driven insights can make a significant impact on GTM and take ownership of prioritizing and delivering these projects. - Design and implement New Relic's key performance metrics aligned with the GTM strategy. - Define scalable data model requirements and collaborate with Data Engineering for successful implementation. - Lead agile delivery of analysis ensuring clear definition, implementation, supervision, and communication. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience or PhD with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a quantitative field. - Previous experience in Sales and GTM analytics showcasing a strong business sense. - Profound technical expertise in end-to-end analytics including building pipelines, data modeling, generating insights, and familiarity with common data science techniques. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar. - Knowledge of basic data science methods such as regression, classification, tree-based, and time series methods. - Strong business intuition and curiosity regarding GTM operations. - Ability to independently complete projects including the development of self-service dashboards, data reports, and ad hoc analytics capabilities. - Proven project management skills including implementing, documenting, and communicating optimally with collaborators and partners during requirement gathering, data modeling, and visualization. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Background in data science with a track record of deploying work for impactful business outcomes.
