Job Description As a Senior Data Operations Analyst at FinacPlus, you will play a crucial role in supporting a leading global data and analytics firm serving structured finance, commercial real estate, and banking markets. You will be part of the Market Sourced Data (MSD) team within the Lending vertical, responsible for ensuring the integrity, scalability, and reliability of complex financial and commercial real estate datasets. Your responsibilities will include: - Taking ownership of recurring and ad hoc analytical workflows using SQL and Python to deliver structured insights with high accuracy and efficiency. - Managing end-to-end loan data processing operations, including ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure operational excellence and SLA adherence. - Leading structured QA testing efforts across data migration and automation initiatives, identifying risks, workflow gaps, and control enhancements. - Designing and strengthening data quality controls, governance checkpoints, and validation frameworks. - Investigating complex loan reporting discrepancies and data processing exceptions, performing root-cause analysis, and driving resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Contributing to the optimization of data pipelines and automation processes to improve scalability, turnaround time, and process efficiency. - Maintaining detailed documentation of business requirements, validation rules, and operational procedures to support audit readiness and knowledge continuity. - Collaborating with global stakeholders across various functions to ensure alignment between data operations and commercial objectives. - Mentoring junior analysts to foster strong data governance practices and operational discipline within the team. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline. - 24 years of experience in data operations, financial data processing, analytics, or structured finance environments. - Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL (Athena, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar querying platforms). - Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation, and reconciliation techniques. - Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or workflow optimization. - Exposure to AWS services (Athena, S3, or similar cloud environments) preferred. - Familiarity with Commercial Real Estate (CRE), structured finance, lending datasets, or financial market data strongly preferred.
