Senior Data BI Analyst

Job Description Role Overview: You are a proactive and skilled Senior Data BI Analyst joining the Business Intelligence and Data Science team to provide tools for optimal data usage, insights generation, and process optimization. Your role involves collaborating with various business lines, understanding their needs, and implementing tools to automate processes for increased data availability. Key Responsibilities: - Organize tasks autonomously, ensuring deadlines are met and delivery aligns with objectives. - Comply with the delivery process, including understanding requirements, implementing solutions, documentation, defining the data model, and performing testing. - Tailor solutions to business needs while following general data principles. - Cover requirements from all data areas and purposes, including business, regulatory, risk, process performance, and data governance. - Provide out-of-the-box solutions as a consultant whenever data is involved. - Ensure proper documentation and process standards are fulfilled. - Provide periodical updates to management on activity and achievements. - Support team communication and cross-training. - Support data literacy progress across business counterparts and other initiatives. Qualification Required: - An academic background and working level in a related field, preferably a Master's degree in data analytics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or economics. - Ability to problem-solve data requirements in a clear and methodical way. - Proven analytical skills to assist the business in reviewing and presenting data professionally. - Experience in QLIK, Power BI, Python, R, or equivalent BI and data analytics tools. - Excellent data mining skills and ease in working with data in different formats (Excel, SQL, Access, etc.). - Good presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the business, including IT and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong quantitative skills. - Good project management skills to structure, organize, and plan activities and deadlines for yourself and the team. - Very good people and interpersonal skills. Additional Details: Experience in the financial service industry, consultancy, or an aligned function is preferred. You should have the ability to work independently and liaise with other departments effectively.
