Job Description As a Senior Data Analyst at Zinnia, you will be responsible for driving analytics initiatives within the Operations team to translate data into actionable insights that enhance efficiency, decision-making, and key business KPIs. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving analytics strategy, advanced analytics, experimentation, operational KPIs, data storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, scalability, automation, thought leadership, and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently own and drive key analytics initiatives in Operations to identify efficiency improvements and cost optimization opportunities. - Utilize inferential modeling, causal analysis, and experimental design to generate actionable insights beyond basic dashboards. - Design and implement A/B tests to measure the impact of operational improvements in areas like fraud detection, customer interactions, and compliance. - Develop frameworks to measure Turnaround Time (TAT), Cost Per Transaction, SLA adherence, and other key operational metrics for data-driven decision-making. - Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations using visual storytelling techniques in tools like Power BI. - Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Data Engineering, and Product to align analytics initiatives with business needs. - Partner with Data Engineering to enhance data pipelines, data models, and automation efforts for improved efficiency. - Drive data analysis best practices, mentor junior analysts, and foster a culture of analytical rigor and excellence. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in data analytics focusing on Operations, Business Strategy, or Process Optimization. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, working with relational cloud databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake), and unstructured datasets. - Experience in designing A/B tests, statistical knowledge (regression analysis, time-series forecasting, causal inference modeling), and operations analytics. - Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to present insights effectively. - Ability to work independently, take project ownership, and influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to identify business opportunities using data.
