Senior Data Analyst

Job Description As a Data Analyst at Ameriprise India LLP, you will be an integral part of the EDAI Products Analytics team, supporting data science initiatives and collaborating with business leaders in the US and India to solve complex problems and execute projects end-to-end. Your role will involve working with large datasets, performing exploratory data analysis, developing interactive dashboards, and supporting the implementation of machine learning models and Large Language Models (LLMs). Key Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and process large datasets using SQL and Python. - Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. - Create and enhance interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Assist in developing and implementing basic machine learning models. - Experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs) for data-related tasks. - Collaborate with team members to present data-driven insights to stakeholders. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). - Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data analysis through internships, academic projects, or coursework. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data. - Strong programming skills in Python, including knowledge of Pandas and NumPy. - Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI. - Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms. - Foundational knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs). Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and take initiative. Good to Have: - Basic knowledge of financial domains. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
