They are part of the Abu Dhabi Government's Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) which oversees technology research in the emirate.Role OverviewThe Data & AI Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing designing and delivering Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives across TII from ideation through production and adoption. This role focuses on practical applied AI and analytics leveraging modern AI platforms lowcode/nocode tools and agentic AI frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making, operational intelligence and intelligent automation across research, innovation, enterprise and industrialization domains. The specialist ensures that the AI solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance.Location & HoursFrom the Abu Dhabi office full-time Mon-Fri 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesData & AI Strategy ExecutionOwn and drive Data Analytics and AI initiatives from the ground up including use case identification, solution design and delivery.Translate business research and operational challenges into analytics-driven and AI-enabled solutions.Contribute to TII\'s enterprise Data & AI roadmap ensuring alignment with digital transformation and innovation priorities.Advanced Analytics & Data EnablementDesign and deliver analytics solutions including descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analytics; executive dashboards and operational insights; data models supporting research, innovation and enterprise reporting.Work with structured and semi-structured data sources across enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, innovation systems, research datasets).Ensure analytics solutions adhere to data governance, security and quality standards.AI & Generative AI SolutionsDesign, prototype and deploy AI-powered solutions including Generative & Agentic AI use cases, intelligent assistants and copilots, decision-support and automation solutions.Build and orchestrate AI agents and agentic workflows using leading platforms and frameworks.Develop solutions using popular AI ecosystems and models including OpenAI-based models and tooling, Anthropic-based models, Google AI / Gemini ecosystem and others.Ensure responsible AI practices including model governance, ethical considerations and enterprise controls.LowCode / NoCode; Agentic AI & AutomationLeverage low-code / no-code platforms to accelerate AI and analytics delivery.Enable rapid prototyping and business-led innovation while maintaining IT oversight and governance.Support integration of AI capabilities into existing enterprise platforms and workflows.Design and implement agent-based AI solutions that can reason, plan and execute tasks across systems; interact with enterprise data and applications; automate repetitive or knowledge-intensive processes.Collaborate with application integration and security teams to operationalize AI agents safely and effectively.Platform Integration & GovernanceWork closely with IT, architecture, security and data teams to integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and ensure compliance with data privacy, security and regulatory requirements.Support scalable cloud-ready AI architectures.Document AI solutions, data flows and operational processes; drive user adoption in collaboration with innovation teams and Research Centers.Key Skills & CompetenciesData & AnalyticsStrong hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization and insight generation.Hands-on advanced experience in BI Platforms including SAP SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) and MS Power BI for end-to-end delivery of comprehensive data insights, reports and dashboards.Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.Experience with modern analytics tools and platforms.AI & Generative AIHands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.Experience developing or orchestrating AI agents / agentic workflows.Familiarity with AI model selection, prompt engineering and evaluation.LowCode / NoCodeExperience using low-code / no-code platforms for analytics, automation or AI enablement.Ability to balance speed of delivery with enterprise governance.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, AI or related field.6-10 years of experience in Data Analytics, AI or Digital roles.Demonstrated experience delivering real-world AI or analytics solutions.Experience working with enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Exposure to research, innovation or advanced technology environments is highly desirable.Soft SkillsExcellent written, spoken and presentation skillsStrong technical skills and a solid understanding of software developmentGood time manage
