Senior CyberSecurity Engineer

This role involves strategic leadership in addressing evolving cyber threats.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design and implement security architecture for networks, systems, and applications</li><li>Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and breaches</li><li>Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing</li><li>Lead incident response and remediation efforts</li><li>Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures</li><li>Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices</li><li>Evaluate and deploy security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls)</li><li>Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigations</li><li>Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)</li><li>Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership</li><li>Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field</li><li>5-10+ years experience in cybersecurity or information security</li><li>Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity management, and cloud security</li><li>Hands‑on experience with security tools and platforms</li><li>Experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)</li><li>Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems</li><li>Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+</li></ul><h3>Key Skills</h3><ul><li>Incident Response and Threat Analysis: Skilled in quickly identifying and mitigating security incidents by analyzing threats and implementing effective countermeasures</li><li>Security Architecture and Design: Experienced in creating robust security frameworks aligned with best practices and organizational goals to protect against evolving cyber threats</li><li>Risk Management: Proficient in assessing risks and vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance</li><li>Problem‑Solving and Analytical Thinking: Strong logical reasoning and data analysis skills to address complex security issues and implement corrective actions</li><li>Communication and Leadership: Able to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences and lead teams through incident response and security improvements</li></ul><h3>Preferred Certifications</h3><ul><li>CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+ or higher</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
