AWS is currently hiring highly technical a Senior ProServe Cloud Architect that works hand-in-hand with customers to deeply understand their needs and design innovative, tailored cloud solutions. This role operates as the conduit between ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams, ensuring proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, and optimized to maximize customer business outcomes.We are looking for someone who is passionate about:Working on a wide range of innovative AWS servicesArchitecting solutions for scale, resiliency and performanceAutomating software deployment and configuration managementCoaching customer and partner teams to adopt cloud best practicesThis is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services when needed.Key Job ResponsibilitiesSolution Design: Creating and leading complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)Technical Guidance: Providing technical expertise and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phasesCustomer Advisory: Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to address their challengesCollaboration: Working closely with Account Managers and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievableKnowledge Sharing: Mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts within the organization to drive process improvementsBusiness Translation: Translating technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical audiencesAbout the TeamThe Professional Services team at AWS is responsible for assisting enterprise customers as they shift to the cloud by incorporating our services into their overall architecture. We work hand-in-hand with customer teams and AWS partners to provide deep expertise in the architecture, design, development, and implementation of cloud computing initiatives that result in real business outcomes. As part of our team, you’ll accelerate the adoption of our products all while advocating for the success of our customers.Qualifications7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience7+ years of cloud and on-premise integration experienceBachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experienceAWS Professional level certification, or degree in advanced technologyKnowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPRExperience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in telecommunications industry, including understanding of telco-specific workloads, OSS/BSS systems, network functions virtualization (NFV), and 5G architectureStrong communication skills with executive presence and presentation capabilitiesExperience in consulting business and working at the CxO levelOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
