Senior Consultant - Building Enclosures

WSP Middle East is currently seeking a Consultant – Façade to join our team in the UAE. The Consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering façade access solutions that meet international standards and industry best practices. This role requires ensuring high‑quality outputs within the façade access team while supporting collaboration with other specialist disciplines. The successful candidate will be expected to stay abreast of the latest technical advancements in façade access systems and apply this knowledge to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions.ResponsibilitiesDeliver technical and advisory input on façade access strategies with a whole‑building perspective.Collaborate with the Façade Engineering team and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.Support the development of reglazing strategies and produce clear reports at key design stages.Undertake and review engineering calculations in line with relevant codes and standards.Execute CAD/BIM tasks and produce accurate AutoCAD drawings.Research emerging façade access systems and recommend innovative solutions.Conduct factory and site inspections to assess quality and compliance.Provide regular updates to line management and embed Health & Safety in all practices.Review peer work for quality control and contribute to continuous improvement.Support business unit strategy, sustainability objectives, and client service enhancement.QualificationsDegree in engineering or related discipline (façade/structural/mechanical preferred).Proven experience in façade access consultancy, including front‑end design and inspections.Strong knowledge of CDM and EN standards relevant to façade access systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM workflows.Skills & AttributesStrong analytical and technical capability.Ability to provide clear, client‑focused recommendations.Effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication and reporting skills.Organised, accountable, and delivery‑focused.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Work on landmark projects around the world and embrace opportunities to make an even bigger impact in the communities you care about.
