Senior Cloud Architect

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join us in Dubai this role you will work as a subject-matter expert in Red Hats infrastructure and cloud technology. Youll answer questions about best practices around automation reliability scalability maintainability high availability and failover setups and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hats technology that delivers freedom flexibility and outstanding performance. You will gain an understanding of our customers infrastructures and business issues and you will make recommendations appropriate to their environments. This is a great opportunity to build on your core base of knowledge and work in a fast-paced environment promoting Red Hats solutions.We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in infrastructure and architecture design topics.Red Hat will support relocation to the UAE for a successful candidate.What you will do:Winning the confidence of our prospective customers through the successful delivery of discovery analysis and design workshops that shape and influence the customers use cases and architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.Designing and scoping delivery projects as well as leading consulting teams through successful customer pilot and production deployments.The design creation and delivery of content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell (pre-sales) service (consulting) and support (CEE) our solutions at scale.Work closely with product business units product engineering consulting support and sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hats products.Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hats services capabilities promote repeatable customer engagements and lower delivery risk.Demonstrate thought leadership in the community by producing world-class white papers webinars etc. and speaking at industry leading conferences.What you will bring:Background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Command line skills Linux network configuration)Experience with Containers container management utilities and debugging containers; also QuaySkills in Package management both on the CLI and with Red Hat SatelliteHands on knolwedge in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOSO18 requires OCP as the base platform to be deployed upon so OCP knowledge becomes a prerequisite for OSP)Architecture skills specifically around datacenter infrastructure (networking compute and storage)Compute skills: Lights-Out-Management LOM (IPMI Redfish) UEFI/BIOS server hardwareNetworking skills: Software Defined Networking SDN Layer 2 (ARP MAC) Layer 3 (TCP UDP) and Layer 4 (IP) Open Virtual Switch OVSStorage skills Software Defined Storage SDS (Ceph) SAN NASAnsible basics (playbooks and troubleshooting)Authentication and Authorization (Red Hat IDM Active Directory)Experience with network/datacenter design elaboration of design and architecture documents and scoping/discovery sessionsAbout Red HatRed Hat is the worlds leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux cloud container and Kubernetes technologies.
