Senior Civil Engineer (Infrastructure - Site Supervision)

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing civil engineering works related to the infrastructureUtilities works such Sewer Scheme Supervision Project. This role requires an experienced engineer with extensive knowledge of sewer network Storm water network Water Supply network 11KV Telephone network ...etc. for construction and infrastructure projects in the ProjectOversee the construction of sewer networks Storm water network Water Supply network 11KV Telephone network Geogrid walls Internal Roads ...etc. including pipeline laying manhole construction and microtunneling.Review and approve construction materials methods and method statements.Ensure that all construction activities comply with project specifications standards and OH&S requirements.Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of the works and materials.Review and approve shop drawings and other submittals ensuring compliance with the design.Monitor and report on the progress of the works providing updates to the Project Manager and Ministry representatives.Coordinate with contractors resolving any technical issues that arise during construction.Coordinate with Local Authorities (such DEWA DCD DM) for Construction NOCs and Handing over and resolving any technical issuesEnsure that the project is completed to the highest quality standards and within the agreed timeline.QualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering required; Masters degree preferredMinimum 1015 years of experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on infrastructure projectsProven track record in managing largescale infrastructure projects in urban environmentsAdvanced knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices particularly in infrastructure design and developmentProficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3DStrong project management skills including budgeting scheduling and resource allocationExcellent problemsolving abilities and analytical thinkingEffective communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage crossfunctional teamsIndepth understanding of urban planning and development principlesExperience with sustainable engineering practices and green infrastructure solutionsFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE (preferred Dubai)Experience in the GCC region with local experience in Bahrain being an advantage.Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and quality control practicesSolid understanding of financial management and resource planning within an engineering consultancy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamAdditional InformationImmediate Join is PreferredRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
