SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our engineering team for onshore oil and gas projects based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading and executing civil engineering design and review activities during the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases ensuring full compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.Job ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation, review and approval of civil engineering deliverables including drawings, calculations, specifications and reports.Design and review civil structures such as roads, drainage systems, foundations, retaining walls, earthworks and site grading.Ensure all designs comply with ADNOC specifications, local regulations and international standards (BS, ACI, Eurocode, etc.).Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure design integration.Review and approve vendor and contractor submittals related to civil works.Perform technical assessments, constructability reviews and value engineering exercises.Mentor junior civil engineers and provide technical guidance.Participate in technical meetings, design reviews and HAZID/HAZOP sessions as required.Key QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.Minimum 12‑15 years of experience in civil engineering within the oil and gas sector, particularly on onshore projects.Hands‑on experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering / Detailed Design phases.Experience working on ADNOC projects is mandatory.Strong knowledge of civil engineering design codes, standards and best practices.Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent.Excellent coordination, leadership and communication skills.Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
