Senior Category Manager Small Domestic Appliances

Position OverviewAmazon UAE is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hardworking, and creative Senior Vendor Manager to join our appliances business based in Dubai.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own the P&L and category strategy at a regional level in UAE.Drive category growth, manage profitability and improve customer experience.Maintain product catalogue data quality and build brand destinations on Amazon.Coordinate and create launch plans for new products, brands, and categories.Manage site placements, promotions, and event calendars with suppliers.Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns in coordination with Instock and Marketing/Merchandising teams.Provide reporting and success metrics for campaigns and merchandising activities; review sales and key metrics to identify opportunities.Manage inventory levels, inventory health, item‑level forecasting, assortment planning, and inventory operations.Interact with operations teams to drive efficiencies.Manage inbound shipments: fill rate, SKUs, operational issues, lead time, quality deviations.Responsible for category KPIs.Required Experience & Qualifications5 years of experience with Excel.5 years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of professional or military experience.Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.Experience using data to influence business decisions.Experience driving internal cross‑team collaboration.Experience with business analysis and P&L management.Experience driving direction and alignment with cross‑functional teams.Strong analytical skills, excellent business judgment, vendor management and negotiation skills, curiosity, and passion for creating a world‑class shopping experience.Ability to work on‑ground and with cross‑functional teams.Leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels.Experience managing suppliers of all sizes.Additional InformationOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, please visit for more information.
