Senior CAD Technician - Infrastructure

Job DescriptionPrepare and develop detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for infrastructure projects (roads, wet& dry utilities, irrigation, site grading, etc.) using AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D).Interpret and convert engineers’/designers’ concepts, sketches, and markups into precise CAD drawings.Maintain CAD standards, layers, templates, and drawing conventions in line with company and client requirements.Produce plan layouts, profiles, sections, and detailed construction drawings.Perform revisions, updates, and as-built drawings in coordination with the design team.Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with design codes and project specifications.Manage and organize drawing files, Xrefs, and digital documentation for project submittals.Assist in quantity take-offs, preparation of shop drawings, and coordination drawings as required.Mentor and guide junior draftsmen and provide technical support to the drafting team.Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to avoid clashes and ensure integrated design.Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy and quality of work.Job RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.Minimum 12–15 years of CAD drafting experience in infrastructure/civil projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest version); experience in Civil 3D, InfraWorks, or MicroStation is an advantage.Strong knowledge of infrastructure design elements:#J-18808-Ljbffr
