With a competitive benefits package, genuine opportunities to advance, and a focus on continuous learning and development, we’re committed to supporting your growth as we work together to deliver excellence “For the Better.”</p><h3>Role Purpose</h3><p>The Senior Buyer – Raw Materials to lead the sourcing and procurement of commodities including cocoa‑related materials, nuts, dairy products, sugar, edible oil and substitutes, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, quality, and strong supplier partnerships. This role will play a key part in delivering sourcing strategies and supporting the business through effective commercial and supply decisions.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead sourcing and procurement activities for related raw materials</li><li>Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies in line with business needs</li><li>Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract execution to ensure best value, quality, and reliability</li><li>Monitor market trends, pricing movements, crop developments, and supply risks to support proactive decision‑making</li><li>Drive cost optimization, value creation, and risk mitigation across the responsible portfolio</li><li>Partner closely with Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth material planning and continuity of supply</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and procurement planning activities</li><li>Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual terms, and sustainability requirements</li><li>Identify opportunities for supplier development, process improvement, and procurement excellence</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in direct procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally within agricultural commodities, cocoa, oil, dairy products and/or food ingredients</li><li>Good understanding of commodity markets, pricing mechanisms, and supply dynamics</li><li>Experience managing contracts, supply risks, and cross‑functional stakeholder alignment</li></ul><h3>Functional Knowledge</h3><ul><li>Experience in cocoa, chocolate, confectionery, or broader food ingredients categories such as dairy, nuts, oils</li><li>Exposure to international sourcing and supplier markets</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools</li></ul><p>Join us and be part of a team that's not just shaping the future of food and beverage but also making a meaningful impact on the world.
