Business Development Manager, Forwarding & Road Freight - UAEFull TimeAbout the RoleWe are searching for a seasoned logistics professional to join our dynamic Sales team. As the Business Development Manager (Forwarding & Road Freight), you will play a key role in driving growth for our Forwarding and Road Freight division. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and strong relationship-building skills to identify and secure new business opportunities while fostering strong connections with existing clients.Market Analysis & Lead Generation:• Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities within the Forwarding & Road Freight sector.• Analyze marketing leads and qualify them as potential sales opportunities, focusing on industry trends and client needs specific to Forwarding & Road Freight.• Develop targeted prospecting strategies to identify and connect with high-value clients.Sales & Client Management:• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for Forwarding & Road Freight services.• Conduct cold calls and presentations to captivate potential clients and showcase Elite Co.'s solutions, highlighting cost-efficiency, reliability, and value proposition.• Identify client needs and develop customized Forwarding & Road Freight solutions to ensure their satisfaction, exceeding expectations in areas like transit times, tracking capabilities, and customs clearance.• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive problem-solving, and exceeding service commitments.• Negotiate contracts and pricing structures that are beneficial for both Elite Co. and the client.• Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and fostering trust from the outset.• Manage existing client relationships by conducting regular account reviews, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and anticipating their evolving needs.Reporting & Analysis:• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on sales activities and performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, sales pipeline analysis, and client satisfaction surveys.• Work closely with the Sales team and other departments (e.g., Operations, Finance) to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and inform future sales strategies within the Forwarding & Road Freight division.Industry Expertise & Innovation:• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity within the Forwarding & Road Freight market, identifying potential threats and opportunities.• Research and propose new Forwarding & Road Freight service offerings to meet evolving client needs and market demands.• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Marketing) to develop innovative solutions that enhance Elite Co.'s competitive edge in the Forwarding & Road Freight landscape.RequirementsQualifications and Certifications:Education and CertificationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).Experience• Minimum 5+ years of proven work experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Account Management role within the Forwarding & Road Freight industry.• Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling.• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.• Experience with CRM software (Hubspot) is essential.• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence clients.• Strong presentation skills with the confidence to captivate a large audience.• Analytical skills to effectively review and interpret financial and operational data.• Customer-oriented and a team player with a focus on building strong relationships.• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel).• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Strong understanding of financial planning principles.• Excellent reporting and communication abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
