Senior BIM Technician - Public Health

ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Work closely with engineers to model HVAC systems, electrical layouts, and plumbing designs maintaining proper spatial coordination.Conduct clash detection and resolve issues between MEP systems and other disciplines using tools like Navisworks Revizto.Develop custom Revit families for specific MEP components as required by project needs.Collaborate with sustainability teams to integrate energy analysis and environmental considerations into MEP designs.Generate detailed schematics, layouts, and schedules for MEP systems ensuring compliance with design standards.Provide BIM support for construction teams addressing design issues and making real-time adjustments to models.Ensure MEP models follow industry-specific and Local Authority standards (e.g., ASHRAE, CIBSE) and project BIM Execution Plans.QualificationsA Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.A minimum of 7 years is required for this role.Additional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
