Senior BIM Designer – Electrical & ELV

EGIS is seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Modeler Electrical & ELV with a strong parametric modelling expertise to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. This position will be expected to deliver BIM models, manage a team, assist with BIM development efforts in the company, and help junior team members enhance their skills.ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed and accurate electrical BIM models using Revit and related software.2D Drafting of Schematics & Single-Line Diagrams.Able to generate drawings from BIM models i.e. Cable Routing & Trench Details, Lighting Layouts, Electrical Room Layouts, Annotations & Legends per Standards with knowledge of Sheet Composition.Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP teams to ensure clash-free designs.Perform interdisciplinary and interface design coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and ACC.Prepare detailed electrical layouts including power lighting cable routing and containment systems.Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, project specs and quality standards.Support design teams with timely model updates and technical clarifications.Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparations and coordination drawings.Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and BIM standards.Support the BIM manager in the delivery of digital outputs within project teams and the seamless sharing of information with other discipline teams.Support with development of a content library suitable for the MEP team.QualificationsExperienced in Revit, AutoCAD, Revizto and Navisworks for electrical system modeling.Experienced with working on collaboration and CDE platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM electrical modelling.Proven experience in Middle East region projects.Strong knowledge of electrical systems regional standards and BIM workflows.Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
