Job Description Your role as an Insurance Counselor at DBS Bank involves being the local insurance specialist for the Bancassurance Business to help achieve the insurance objectives of the cluster/CBG branch location. Your key responsibilities include: - Achieving monthly & annual Banca sales targets, comprising New Business revenues, Renewal income target, and the General Insurance revenue target. - Proper implementation & execution of insurance strategy for the branch and sourcing of Insurance proposals through the Tablet application. - Ensuring timely sessions and attendance of eligible participants for knowledge/skilling sessions of AKASH for the front line sales team. - Identifying prospect lists with RMs for the month through Joint sitting with TLs. - Executing business development activities aimed at generating insurance prospects and converting them into clients. - Maximizing revenue earnings of Bancassurance products through proper sales spread between products mix and creating a sustainable revenue flow for the branch through renewals. - Increasing insurance penetration of existing clients through cross-sell and up-sell of insurance products. - Improving customer service reflected in CSS score of 4.20 or above for insurance products. - Facilitating timely collection of renewal premiums, enabling client contact management, and resolving client complaints on insurance. - Ensuring regulatory compliance by timely IRDA Certification & Renewal of Certificates of sales staff. Your duties and responsibilities also include: - Ensuring alignment with Aviva ICs on the execution of 5 key levers as per the Banca strategy. - Demonstrating a minimum of 3 insurance calls per day at the Branch. - Facilitating IRDA certification of new joinees and product & KYC/AML training. - Identifying and developing new business segments and geographical areas. - Managing customer issues and escalating to Banca team if required. - Training & briefing on product launches & upgrades, staying current with economic and financial markets. - Facilitating TRM activation and ensuring internal & regulatory compliance. - Tracking insurance penetration, facilitating customer segmentation, and follow up for renewal premiums. - Conducting competitor analysis and sharing updates with the team. Requirements: - Experience in HNI Sales/Wealth Management/Private Banking segment. - Understanding of financial planning and wealth management products. - Knowledge of the local market and competition. - AMFI/IRDAI/FEDAI certified candidates with BCSBI certification preferred. Education: - Graduate/Post Graduate with MBA in a relevant field.
