Senior Architect

A Senior Site Architect is responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of construction projects on-site. This role involves ensuring that the design intent is realized during construction coordinating with various stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise during the building process.Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision: Oversee the construction site to ensure that the architectural design is implemented correctly and according to the plans.Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.Coordination: Collaborate with contractors engineers and other professionals to resolve any design or construction issues.Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes safety regulations and environmental guidelines.Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site making adjustments to plans as necessary.Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposed solutions.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of site activities including daily logs inspection reports and change orders.Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the project.Qualifications : A Bachelors in Architecture is required or a related subject.Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural and site planning with a focus on large-scale projectsIn-depth understanding of local building codes and regulations in the United Arab EmiratesProven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfactionExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to diverse audiencesStrong leadership and team management abilitiesAdvanced problem-solving and critical thinking skillsFamiliarity with construction methodologies and materialsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environmentWillingness to travel to project sites as neededAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
