Senior Application Engineer

Role: Senior Application EngineerLocation: Doha, QatarContract: PermanentKey ResponsibilitiesProvide pre‑sales technical support to the sales team, consultants, and contractors for HVAC and air conditioning systems.Perform HVAC equipment selection and system application including split units, ducted units, DX‑AHU, packaged units, VRF system and accessories.Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure technical compliance with standards and client requirements.Prepare and review technical submittals, data sheets, compliance statements, and deviation lists.Support pricing and offer preparation by providing accurate technical inputs and configurations.Coordinate with factory, product management, and quality teams to resolve technical queries and field issues.Conduct technical presentations and product training for internal sales teams and external customers when required.Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, applications, industry standards (QCS, ASHRAE, AHRI), and competitor offerings.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.5 years of experience with strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning equipment, and applications.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.Good communication skills to interface with sales teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.Proficiency in HVAC selection software and Microsoft Office tools.Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.BenefitsInternational working environmentCompetitive salaryDrive forward your career through professional development opportunitiesAchieve your personal goals with our Employee Assistance ProgrammeCarrier is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
