About Commercial Bank of QatarCommercial Bank, founded in 1975 and headquartered in Doha, plays a vital role in Qatar’s economic development by offering a range of personal, business, government, international and investment services.We believe in empowering our employees, providing them with opportunities for growth and professional development.By Joining us, you’ll be part of a workplace culture that fosters innovation, supports work-life balance, and encourages you to reach your full potential.Join us in shaping the future of banking!Job SummaryThe Senior AI Product Owner - is responsible for driving the successful delivery of Data & AI products across assigned business domains, primarily Retail or Wholesale Banking.The role serves as a single point of accountability for product vision, prioritization, and execution, ensuring alignment between business objectives and Data & AI Lab delivery teams.The position bridges business and technology by translating strategic priorities into scalable, high-impact data and AI solutions, while ensuring value realization, governance, and delivery excellence across the product portfolio.Key AccountabilitiesProduct Strategy & VisionDefine and maintain the product vision and roadmap for assigned data and AI products within the business domain.Partner with domain heads and senior stakeholders to identify new opportunities for data-driven value creation.Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary liaison between Data Lab and business units (Retail / Wholesale Banking), ensuring transparency, alignment, and shared accountability for outcomes.Manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize requests, and facilitate trade-off discussions.Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to senior management and steering committees.Delivery OwnershipOwn and manage the product backlog across multiple teams (DE, DS, MLE, BI).Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with technical leads and architects.Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of data products, dashboards, ML models, and AI-driven capabilities.Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives with Agile delivery teams.Planning & CoordinationOversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and release.Coordinate inter-team dependencies, manage capacity planning, and align releases across the Data Lab portfolio.Drive integration of Data Lab products with enterprise systems and business workflows.Value Realization & GovernanceDefine and track key KPIs and success metrics for each product.Ensure compliance with the bank’s Data Governance, Privacy, and Security policies.Partner with Data Governance team to monitor data quality, lineage, and ownership within assigned products.Key CompetenciesFunctional / Business SkillsDeep understanding of banking processes (Retail, Corporate / Wholesale, Digital channels).Strong product management background, ideally in Data, AI, or Digital transformation context.Ability to translate business needs into data and AI product requirements.Experience defining roadmaps, KPIs, and ROI metrics.Leadership & CollaborationExcellent stakeholder management and communication across senior business and technology leadership.Proven experience leading cross-functional delivery teams.Strong planning, prioritization, and coordination skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to balance innovation and operational excellence.Technical AwarenessUnderstanding of AI/ML lifecycle, analytics, BI, and reporting.Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Data Lakehouse, Data Streaming, APIs).Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.8+ years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, or Data/AI Delivery.Proven track record in delivering complex data or AI products in financial services or technology organizations.Agile certification (Scrum PO, SAFe, or equivalent) preferred.PMI PMBoK certification preferred.Why Commercial Bank?Best Digital Bank in the Middle East 2024 by World Finance and Best Mobile Banking App in the Middle East 2024 by Global Finance.An Innovation-Driven, Digital-First Environment where employees work with the latest tools and technologies to redefine banking.Opportunities for Global Partnerships & International Exposure, connecting employees with global networks and perspectives.A focus on Employee Well-being & Work-Life Balance, ensuring a healthy and supportive environment for all team members.Competitive Compensation & Benefits that ensure our employees are rewarded for their dedication and performance.A strong Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, fostering a culture that values every individual’s unique perspective.At Commercial Bank, we don’t just offer careers, We shape futures by pioneering digital transformation in Qatar’s ba
