Job Description
Job DescriptionProvide professional, efficient and high quality support to the Compliance Management and advise on key elements of the company’s risk management and compliance framework. Research, analyse, and report on new and revised laws and regulations for business impact and complete risk assessments.Job PurposeProvide professional support to Compliance Management, advising on risk management and compliance framework strategies.Job Specific AccountabilitiesConduct and analyse complex compliance reviews to identify irregularities and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory rules and regulations.Monitor changes in state or federal laws and regulations to ensure awareness of pending changes.Consult with management to develop corporate policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations.Assist in developing a risk‑management program related to compliance.Compile and research emerging issues, recent industry enforcement actions, and industry news to gauge the direction of current industry issues and present findings to the compliance management team.Review regulatory changes; prepare advisory memos to keep management and business informed.Review various compliance policies related to assigned business units, ensuring policies, procedures and business controls are implemented or revised as needed.Gather and analyse data to use as risk indicators. Prepare presentations to communicate trends and directions of compliance risks.Lead or participate in projects related to regulatory changes, system enhancements or changes to business practices.Coordinate and complete project plans to meet updated compliance expectations, and prepare reports for leadership on compliance risk, changes to the compliance landscape and emerging issues.Support the annual compliance risk assessment.Provide compliance input on business action plans, projects or operational requests, identifying outstanding compliance issues and coordinating proper implementation.Provide guidance, technical assistance, counseling and training to the business on compliance management matters.SupervisionPlan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the section objectives.BudgetsProvide input for preparation of the Unit/Divisional budgets and assist in implementation of the approved budget and work plans.Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.Policies, Systems, Processes & ProceduresImplement approved Unit/Divisional policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in accordance with Company and International standards.Performance ManagementContribute to the achievement of the approved performance objectives for the Unit/Division in line with the Company performance framework.Innovation and Continuous ImprovementDesign and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices to achieve greater efficiency in line with ISO standards, defining intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and SustainabilityComply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards and company Code of Practices.ReportsProvide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.Internal Communications & Working RelationshipsContact with line Manager/peers and other employees within the company/Group as required.External Communications & Working RelationshipsContact with external parties including consultants, third‑party service providers, and government agencies as required.Minimum QualificationBachelor degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or other relevant qualification.Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills10 years of experience in Compliance Management.Professional CertificationsAs applicable.Work Condition, Physical Effort & Work EnvironmentPhysical Effort: MinimalWork Environment: A/C environment, with occasional exposure to prevailing weather conditions such as heat, humidity and dust during site visits.Additional DetailsJob Family / Sub Family: Governance/ComplianceExplore LocationExplore Location#J-18808-Ljbffr
